Sanda's WordUp is a Bible, prayer, devotional, and spiritual growth app designed to help individuals and families engage with Scripture and prayer. Developed by Bishop Dr. David Sanda for the glory of Jesus.
Information Stored on Your Device
Sanda's WordUp may store the following information locally on your device. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to any server, third party, or external service.
- App settings
- Reminder preferences
- Completed devotions
- Progress and streaks
- Badge progress
- Saved verses
- Highlighted verses
- Private prayer requests
- Answered prayer status
This data is stored locally on your device and is not uploaded to a Sanda's WordUp server in the current version.
Prayer Requests
Prayer requests are private by default. Prayer requests are stored locally on the user's device only. Sanda's WordUp does not share prayer requests with other users, churches, administrators, or third parties.
Bible and Devotional Content
Sanda's WordUp includes Scripture, devotionals, prayers, and spiritual growth content for encouragement and personal or family use. The app currently uses the King James Version Bible text, which is in the public domain. Words of Christ are shown in red as a core feature.
Notifications
Sanda's WordUp may ask for notification permission so it can send daily Scripture and prayer reminders. You can control notifications through your device settings.
Text-to-Speech
Sanda's WordUp uses the device's built-in text-to-speech system to read Scripture, prayers, and devotionals aloud. This feature runs entirely on your device and does not transmit any audio or text to external servers.
Internet and Data Transmission
Sanda's WordUp is a fully offline application for core features. It does not require an internet connection to read the Bible, pray, or complete daily devotion. Opening Privacy Policy, Website, or Support links from Settings uses your device browser and needs internet only for those pages.
Sanda's WordUp does not use:
- Analytics or tracking tools
- Advertising SDKs or ad networks
- Cloud storage or sync services
- Crash reporting services
- Third-party login (e.g. Google Sign-In, Facebook Login)
Sanda's WordUp does not require account registration or cloud sync. All core app functionality is available immediately after installation with no login required.
Permissions
Sanda's WordUp may request:
- Notifications — optional daily Scripture and prayer reminders
- Exact alarm / schedule — so reminders can fire at your chosen time
- Vibrate — optional notification feedback
Sanda's WordUp does not request contacts, camera, microphone, precise location, photos, or files for core features.
Third-Party Services
Sanda's WordUp does not use any third-party services that collect user data. Specifically, Sanda's WordUp does not integrate:
- Google Firebase or Google Analytics
- Facebook SDK
- Any advertising networks
- Any crash reporting platforms
- Any cloud database services
Sanda's WordUp does not sell user data. Sanda's WordUp does not share private local app data with any third party.
Children and Families
Sanda's WordUp is designed to be family-friendly. Parents and guardians are encouraged to guide children's use of the app.
Data Deletion
Because all personal app data is stored locally on the device, users may delete their data by clearing the app's storage from Android settings or by uninstalling the app. No personal prayer or progress data exists on any external Sanda's WordUp server to be deleted.
Future Updates
If future versions add accounts, cloud sync, community prayer, or online features, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly before those features are released.
