No Fear

But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. Luke 9:55 (KJV) Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands. For God hath NOT given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7 (KJV) What manner of Spirit are you of? Beloved, the Bible tells us God has NOT given us the spirit of fear. I make bold to say that when we live in fear, we act like thieves – taking what we aren’t given. God didn’t give us fear. These False Evidences Appearing Real (FEAR) has crippled a lot of believers from achieving their highest potential in God, in life, in marriage, in their careers, and in businesses. You are not of the spirit of fear. On the contrary, you are made of the Spirit of Love, Power, and Sound mind. We have researched in previous teachings how we have been imbibed with God’s Spirit of Love. In addition, we have been blessed with the Spirit of power. We are truly full of power by the Spirit (Micah 3:8). When we received the promise of the Holy Spirit, he impregnated us with His life-giving power. That’s who we are. Timidity, cringing fear, worry, and anxiety aren’t part of the package we received in Christ Jesus. Also 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us we are blessed with the Spirit of a sound mind. Glory! Accept God’s report concerning you. You have a sound mind – a mind loaded with wisdom, counsel, innovation, direction, and self-control. The more you meditate on God’s word, the more alert your mind will be and the more in tune you will be to enjoy a maximized Christian life. Know thyself! You are made of the Spirit of Love, Power, and a Sound Mind. Trust God to guide and direct your mind. For who has known or understood the mind (the counsels and purposes) of the Lord so as to guide and instruct Him and give Him knowledge? But we have the mind of Christ (the Messiah) and do hold the thoughts (feelings and purposes) of His heart.1 Corinthians 2:16 (Amp) You have the Spirit of a sound mind – the mind of Christ. Accept who you are and live it out in your life. Oh, what bliss we often forfeit when we fail to acknowledge the manner of Spirit we are made of.
