Sanda Data Saver is built as a tool to help users manage and reduce mobile data consumption. This policy explains how we handle permissions and data.
Sanda Data Saver uses Android’s VpnService API to provide its core functionality of blocking internet access for selected applications.
The VPN is used strictly to enforce the data-blocking rules you set within the app.
To provide data monitoring features, the app requires Usage Access (PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS). This allows the app to calculate how much data each application is using. This information is processed in real-time on your device and is never sent to any external server or third party.
| Permission | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Usage Access | To monitor per-app data consumption and alert the user. |
| VPN Service | To block mobile data access for specific apps selected by the user. |
| Query All Packages | To display a list of installed apps so the user can choose which to manage. |
| Foreground Service | To ensure the data monitor stays active and accurate in the background. |
We do NOT sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your information to outside parties. Your data usage statistics and blocked app lists remain private on your device.
Our app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. We are fully compliant with COPPA regulations.
